Each month we recognize a Caregiver who has consistently lived by our "We are CARE" philosophy through all their dealings with clients and the office. This month, we're pleased to introduce you to Craig B. He is a committed Caregiver and we are pleased to call him June's Senior Care Employee of the Month.
In Craig's photo, he is showing off a lobster he brought his "adopted" grandmother when he volunteered in a dementia unit.
APH: What are your certifications?
CB: I received my CNA when I was 17 and later got my Med Aide certification.
APH: How did you get involved with caring for others?
CB: I was volunteering at a home and was offered a job. I needed a CNA for the position, so I took the job and got my CNA.
APH: What do you do in your free time?
CB: When I have free time, I enjoy off-road unicycling, spending time with my girlfriend and making abstract art.
APH: Tell us about your family.
CB: In my family, I am the middle child. I have my mom and dad and a sister and brother.
APH: If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?
CB: If I could go anywhere in the world and if money, time and safety were not issues, I would love to take a couple of guides and hike in the rainforest in Africa.
Thank you, Craig for bringing your fun, positive attitude to everything that you do. We are proud to have you as part of the A Place at Home team!
