Meet Our Owners
Luis Morones
Luis was born and raised in Orange County, California. Spanning over 25 years, he has experience in both independent roles and team collaborations across customer service, operations and sales. He is excited to bring his wealth of expertise to a new chapter that is both close to his heart and a personal mission: delivering compassionate, empathetic, in-home senior care to the community he knows and loves through A Place At Home – Yorba Linda. Luis is honored and proud to be able to support families in Brea, Fullerton, Yorba Linda, Orange, Villa Park, Anaheim, and neighboring areas in Orange County.
His passion for caring for seniors comes from deeply rooted family values and firsthand experiences with the challenges aging loved ones face. Such as seeing his parents dealing with health changes that limit their ability to do daily tasks as they enter their retirement years. Luis takes great care in selecting caregivers who share his values—matching each client’s unique needs with a caregiver who will treat them with the same kindness, respect, and dignity they would give their own loved ones.
He understands how important it is to feel trust, comfort, and peace of mind when someone is caring for your family member. For Luis, this work is more than just a service—it’s a calling to help seniors live healthily, safely, and with dignity in the home they love.
Rita Morones
Rita immigrated to the United States at a young age and was lovingly cared for by her grandmother while her mother worked tirelessly to build a better future for their family. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Cal State Fullerton and brings over a decade of experience in Accounting and Finance. Rita is driven by a deep appreciation for hard work and a desire to make a meaningful contribution in everything she does.
Years later, in a reversal of roles, her grandmother began to show signs of early-onset dementia and Alzheimer’s. The family stepped in to care for her—a commitment they continue to uphold to this day, with her 97th birthday just around the corner. That journey—filled with love, challenges, and invaluable lessons—opened her eyes to the vital importance of dependable, compassionate support for both seniors and their families.
It was this personal experience that resonated deeply and sparked Rita’s passion for ensuring others receive the same level of care she wishes for her own loved ones—care rooted in empathy, honesty, and dignity.
Rita believes that exceptional care begins with exceptional caregivers. She is committed to building a positive, respectful environment where caregivers feel valued and supported, — knowing that when caregivers thrive, clients receive the best possible care.
