My name is Ashika Chopra and I am the owner of A Place At Home – Woodland Hills. For over 20 years, I built a career in marketing within the family entertainment industry. I look forward to bringing my experience to a purpose-driven venture at A Place At Home where I will provide much needed home care services and care coordination to families seeking a partner to help care for their loved ones in a respectful, caring and a dignified way. 

For more than five years, I was a full-time care coordinator, care manager and a fiercest advocate for my mother, Bimla, who battled both Dementia and Parkinson’s disease. I know what it feels like to navigate a system that can feel overwhelming — to make impossible decisions as both a health professional and a daughter. I know the exhaustion, the heartbreak, and the deep, unwavering love that keeps you going. While losing my mom in January 2026 was the hardest thing, it left me with an unexpected gift: a clarity of purpose to help others dealing with similar challenges.

This business is not a career pivot. It is a calling! I started my business – A Place At Home, in her honor, and I carry her with me in every conversation I have with families who may be overwhelmed, or just looking for someone who truly understands. I treat every client the way I would have wanted someone to treat my mom — with patience, dignity, and love. And with my compassionate husband Gaurav by my side, we are committed to showing up for your family, both physically and emotionally.
