About Our At Home Care Services

A Place At Home started out of our founders’ own needs for support while navigating the uncertainty and anxiety of caring for aging loved ones. That’s why we’re so committed to providing excellent, consistent, and comprehensive at-home care to families throughout the Somerville area, including Bridgewater, Mendham, and the surrounding communities.

Meet Our Owner

Jessica Dale

Co-Owner

Jessica has a Bachelor’s degree in Management/International Business from Kean University, NJ. She worked for Corporate America for 10 years before she decided to be a stay-home-mom. Once her children got older, she re-entered the workforce as a Domestic and International Relocation Consultant helping families with their relocation needs. She had always been involved in the community and when the opportunity presented itself to work for a non-profit organization, she embraced it and served as a Community Relations and Volunteer Coordinator for over 4 years.

Jessica’s personal experience with coordinating care for her mother Liana who had several health challenges, along with her passion for helping others, have been her biggest motivation to pursue the senior care business. She loves to help seniors and their families because she understands firsthand the challenges families face when they are trying to find the best care for their loved ones. Jessica is married to Neil and together they have 2 children, Julia and Ryan.

Judy Mazon

Co-Owner

Judy has been in the customer care industry for almost 15 years prior to opening A Place At Home. She is the Founder of 2 daycares in NJ where she managed 2 large teams and provided excellent customer service and education for her clients.

Her passion for home care began many years ago when she cared for her mother, Ella, when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Judy saw the challenges firsthand that families face when caring for a loved one. When her partner, Jessica, approached her about starting this company in New Jersey, it was an easy decision.

Judy’s heart, passion, drive, and experience will make NJ’s first A Place At Home where your family becomes a part of ours.

Director of Nursing (DON)

I am a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field. As the
Director of Nursing at A Place at Home, I strive to always lead with compassion, clinical
expertise, and a strong commitment to quality care. Having a decade of hands-on
nursing experience, my goal is to ensure that every client receives personalized and

I enjoy working as a Registered Nurse because it gives me the opportunity to build
meaningful relationships with patients and their families, while using my clinical skills to
support their health and well-being. As a Director of Nursing, it allows me to combine
my passion for nursing with my strengths in leadership and organization—helping
ensure that care is not only effective, but also delivered with heart.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and relaxing with our
Goldendoodle Harry.

Erin Ward

I bring over 20 years of experience in operations management across various
industries. While my professional background is broad, I recently felt drawn to home
health care field that aligns closely with my passion for helping others and making a
meaningful impact.

I’ve always enjoyed working with people and supporting those who need a little extra
care. That’s what makes this role so fulfilling. I take pride in building strong connections
with our clients and empowering our caregiving team to grow and thrive in their careers.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and relaxing with crafting projects.

Daniela Cespedes

Scheduler

Working in the senior care industry has taught me the value of empathy, genuine
connection, and how even simple acts, such as truly listening, can make a significant
difference. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Languages. My
experience working with vulnerable communities has strengthened my ability to connect
with others and significantly supported my work in Senior Care, giving me a deep
appreciation for cultural diversity and the importance of helping others. In my free time, I
enjoy painting and collecting music.

Mary Ronalene Tagarro

Recruiter

My role is to support the management and scheduling team with admin tasks, find the
right caregivers, and keep track of our applicants to ensure a smooth onboarding
process. This helps us keep up with the needs of our growing company. My goal is to
find compassionate, dedicated caregivers who can truly make a difference in someone’s
life.

What I love most about working at A Place at Home is the supportive, family-like
environment. Here, we’re not just colleagues, we’re a team that lifts each other up and
works hand in hand to achieve a common purpose: providing the best care possible for
our clients.

Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my family. Whether it’s watching movies
together, relaxing at home, or simply enjoying each other’s company, these moments
keep me grounded and motivated to give my best every day.

I’m excited to keep growing with A Place at Home and, together, bring our mission of
providing heartfelt CARE to life for every client we serve.
