Last September 2025, A Place At Home – Palmetto had the pleasure of participating as a local small-business vendor at the Trevesta Fall Festival in Palmetto, Florida — and what an incredible day it was.
Throughout the event, we connected with 30 to 40 homeowners from the Trevesta community, meeting neighbors face-to-face and engaging in meaningful conversations about aging well at home. The atmosphere was welcoming, lively, and filled with a true sense of community.
Connecting Through Conversation
Our booth quickly became a place for friendly visits, thoughtful questions, and genuine interest in learning more about in-home care options — whether for attendees themselves, their parents, or other loved ones. We appreciated the opportunity to educate families on how personalized, non-medical home care can support independence, safety, and peace of mind, all in the comfort of home.
Sharing information and listening to real concerns allowed us to highlight how compassionate, professional care can make a meaningful difference at every stage of aging.
Why Community Events Matter
Events like the Trevesta Fall Festival remind us why community outreach is such an important part of what we do. Being present, listening, educating, and building relationships in person aligns perfectly with our mission at A Place At Home – Palmetto.
We are truly grateful to the Trevesta community for the warm welcome and engaging conversations, and we look forward to many more opportunities to connect with our neighbors in the years ahead.
