Recently, the A Place At Home – Palmetto team had the privilege of attending a health expo at Lorraine Lakes of Lakewood Ranch, proudly sponsored by Seniors Blue Book. It was a truly meaningful day filled with connection, education, and thoughtful conversations with residents and community members.
Engaging Conversations & Personalized Education
Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to connect with residents one-on-one—answering questions, listening to individual concerns, and discussing how care needs often evolve. Many conversations centered on maintaining independence, staying safe at home, and understanding the options available as needs change.
We shared information about how personalized, private-duty in-home care can support individuals who want to remain in the comfort of their own homes, while also emphasizing the importance of planning. These conversations allow families to make informed decisions with confidence, whether care is needed now or in the future.
Supporting the Entire Care Journey
In addition to discussing in-home care, we highlighted the value of having access to trusted resources and community partners. We believe care planning doesn’t happen in isolation—it’s a journey that may include support before, during, or after home care is needed. Our goal is to help guide individuals and families toward the right solutions at every stage.
Gratitude for Our Partners and Community
We are sincerely grateful to Seniors Blue Book for sponsoring such an impactful event and for their continued commitment to educating and connecting older adults with valuable local resources. Their partnership plays a vital role in strengthening our community and supporting informed aging.
A heartfelt thank you as well to the residents of Lorraine Lakes for the warm welcome and engaging conversations. We look forward to continuing to serve the Lakewood Ranch community with compassion, education, and dependable care.
