CARE Launch: Franchise Training That Prepares You to Open

Once you’ve decided to partner with A Place At Home, you’ll move into the CARE Launch stage. This is where your franchise training begins to take shape. With our hands-on approach to learning, this phase is designed to help you feel confident when opening your business.

Guided Onboarding and Licensing Support

You’ll work closely with your A Place At Home business coach to ensure everything is initially set up correctly. This includes getting you acquainted with our task management software, which outlines each step required to launch your business.

Your coach will also assist you with navigating state-specific licensing requirements, helping you stay on track and avoid common delays during the startup process.

Virtual Training: Sales, Recruiting, and Operations

Before you attend our in-person training, you’ll complete a series of virtual learning modules designed to build a strong operational foundation. These programs focus on the core components of running your business, including:

  • CARE Sales — how to effectively build relationships and a strong client base
  • CARE Recruitment & Retention — how to attract, hire, and retain quality caregivers

With this training, you’ll be prepared to manage both the business development and staffing sides of your operations.

Hands-On Training at Our Omaha Headquarters

To bring it all together, you’ll participate in a 40-hour, hands-on training program at our headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. Combining classroom education with real-world exposure, you’ll see how the business operates day to day. By meeting with experienced team members and observing systems in action, you’ll gain the practical knowledge needed to confidently manage your location.

CARE Coaching: Ongoing Franchise Support After Launch

Once you’ve gained your footing and have hit your initial key performance indicators (KPIs), you’re ready for the next stage of the CARE Track—CARE Coaching. This is our continued franchise training and support for after you’ve launched your business.

As you start working with clients and caregivers, questions and challenges are likely to arise. CARE Coaching ensures you have consistent guidance while navigating this new phase of business ownership.

Your coaching calls will consist of the following touchpoints:

Weekly Coaching and KPI Tracking

Through regular coaching calls, we’ll track your performance benchmarks and provide best practices to help you grow. At A Place At Home, we’re here to mentor you, keep a pulse on your business, and help you successfully provide essential services to seniors in your community.

Operational and Marketing Support

As part of CARE Coaching, you’ll continue to receive guidance across the core areas of your business, including:

At this stage, your business is gaining momentum and you’re becoming a more independent operator. However, you’ll still have access to our franchise training and support whenever you need it.

CARE Pro: Scaling Your Business

The conclusion of the CARE Track, CARE Pro represents a major milestone in your journey to becoming a franchise owner with A Place At Home. At this stage, you’ve demonstrated you can successfully run your business, overcome challenges, and provide high-quality services to seniors in need.

With a proper foundation in place, your focus shifts toward scaling your business. This may include expanding into additional territories, growing your team to offer more services, and developing a long-term strategy to continue growing.
