Todd Tomlinson
Owner
Todd has a strong dedication to service and giving back. He began his journey by joining the U.S. Army Reserve at the age of 18 before transitioning to a U.S. Army fireman. After that, he served in the U.S. Air Force for just over a decade as an aircrew in PACAF and SAC. Todd then spent 22 years at Southwestern Bell, which later became AT&T, providing network reliability and service restoration during natural disasters. During his time at AT&T, he also acted as a community liaison to Carter BloodCare for 15 years.
Todd’s exposure to senior care began as a teenager when his grandmother required 24/7 care after breaking her hip. At the time, there were no such agencies that could have provided the necessary care. Todd’s mother and aunt struggled to provide the care his grandmother needed, and eventually, they had to make the difficult decision of placing her in a nursing home. If A Place At Home had existed back then, Todd’s family would have been grateful for the chance to keep his grandmother at home with care. Later in life, Todd learned about assisted living group homes and felt a strong connection to the idea of providing care for seniors. He eventually decided to transition from AT&T to senior care because it was what he felt called to do.
