Dr. Charlyn Hilliman brings over two decades of executive leadership experience in higher education, public administration, and healthcare technology to her role as Owner and Chief Strategic Officer of A Place At Home – Winter Garden. With a Ph.D. and an MPA, she is a seasoned academic, strategist, and former university vice president known for driving quality and innovation in service delivery.
Her work is rooted in a commitment to person-centered care that respects the dignity and diverse needs of every client. At A Place At Home – Winter Garden, Dr. Hilliman leads strategic planning, quality assurance, and community engagement—ensuring families across West Orlando and surrounding areas have access to compassionate and reliable in-home care.
A United States Air Force veteran, educator, and advocate for aging-in-place solutions, Dr. Hilliman brings both personal passion and professional expertise to every aspect of the franchise’s operations. As a breast cancer survivor and healthcare proxy for her mother, she understands the complexity of navigating care decisions with empathy, clarity, and urgency—and is deeply committed to supporting other families through these life transitions with dignity and trust.
Edouard Salomon, MBA
Owner & Chief Operations Officer
Edouard Salomon, MBA, brings more than 25 years of cross-sector experience in finance, housing, healthcare, and sustainability to his role as Chief Operations Officer at A Place At Home – Winter Garden. With a strong background in process improvement, regulatory compliance, and systems design, he has led projects focused on building sustainable, people-centered operations.
Now focused on senior care, Mr. Salomon applies his systems-thinking approach to ensure high-quality, compassionate service for every client. He oversees daily operations, caregiver support, and quality assurance—creating the infrastructure that allows both care teams and families to thrive. Bilingual in English and Haitian Creole, and trained in Sustainable Cities and Communities at Harvard, he brings both technical expertise and cultural awareness to his leadership.
His dedication to caregiving is deeply personal, shaped by his experience supporting loved ones through complex health journeys and his commitment to serving families in the community with integrity and empathy.
