About Our At Home Care Services

A Place At Home started out of our founders’ own needs for support while navigating the uncertainty and anxiety of caring for aging loved ones. That’s why we’re so committed to providing excellent, consistent, and comprehensive at-home care to families throughout the Beaverton area, including Tigard, Clackamas, and the surrounding communities.

Meet Our Owners

Jerome Philips

Owner
Jerome decided to launch an A Place At Home franchise after personally experiencing the challenges of caring for his father during an unexpected and persistent illness. At this time, he became aware of both the needs of seniors and the challenges they face in navigating their way to appropriate care. As a result, he is passionate about maintaining the quality of life for seniors no matter what their circumstances are. He is also committed to providing an understanding and supportive work environment for caregivers.

Meet the Team

Jeanne Heise

Director of Operations

Jeanne decided to transition to the healthcare field after her grandmother got sick with cancer and was placed on hospice care. Jeanne saw the lack of compassion that her grandmother received and decided that she wanted to help make a difference in the lives of other people so that no one else had to go through that. She has worked both as a caregiver and in the office setting. Jeanne is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives around her.

Wendy Burns

Field Supervisor
Wendy has been working in the healthcare field for over 17 years. She started taking care of her great-grandparents until their passing and became and CNA/Caregiver immediately after. Wendy came to work for A Place At Home because she enjoys helping others. In her free time, she likes to travel and spend time with her children.

Jessica Reynolds

Registered Nurse
Jessica chose to become a nurse because she has always enjoyed taking care of other people. She loves to help people feel better. While in nursing school, Jessica quickly discovered her favorite patients were the elderly. She loves getting to know their rich histories and life stories.
