Before opening A Place At Home \u2013 Lafayette, he served over 40 years in leadership roles, including 15 years in the military.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Larry is the youngest sibling of 17 brothers and sisters. Hence, now his siblings are elder, he continues to personally experience first-hand the amazing compassion of caregivers, particularly from immediate family members. During his recent retirement years, he genuinely provided spiritual guidance, praying alongside an older sister\u2019s journey of aging up through the time hospice stepped in, providing her comfort medically.
