About Our At Home Care Services
A Place At Home started out of our founders’ own needs for support while navigating the uncertainty and anxiety of caring for aging loved ones. That’s why we’re so committed to providing excellent, consistent, and comprehensive at-home care to families throughout the Arlington & Alexandria area, including Springfield, Mt. Vernon, and the surrounding communities.

When I was 10-years old, my best friend was Rose, an 84 year old woman on my paper route. I used to visit and talk to her for hours at a time. I have since worked with the elderly for over 35 years, beginning as a CNA at age 16. I have experience as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and Certified Ophthalmic Surgical Assistant. I supervised a memory care unit and was a Life Enrichment Director providing meaningful activities for independent living, assisted living, and memory care. I gravitated towards in-home care as I saw the great need for, and the strong desire of our elderly who want to age in place within their own homes. I am here to offer to you and your loved ones, A Place At Home.
